Champions: UM Central at The Drum Awards

Our Birmingham, Bristol and London Media teams recently came together to celebrate at The Drum Awards ceremony for Media in London, and what an afternoon it was!

Our three teams were up for a total of four awards in the Content, Government and Public Sector, Travel and Tourism, and Programmatic categories for our work with The Testicular Cancer Society, The Electoral Commission, Brittany Ferries, and Acer.

“It was fantastic to see recognition of brilliant work across multiple teams, with the Birmingham, Bristol and Demand teams all receiving shortlists. It was even better to have the teams present with some of our clients to enjoy the celebration together. It was a true testament to the skill of our people and the quality of our work to see this recognition in such competitive categories,” said Kevin Murphy, Group Managing Director of Media.

We walked away with the gold in the Content category for our ‘Highlight Your Balls’ campaign for The Testicular Cancer Society. Group Managing Director, Kevin Murphy, who accepted the award, shared a bit about the creative process and strategy behind the campaign to the audience in The Drum Labs and world-wide livestream audience. It was very happy and special occasion and a rare opportunity to celebrate as one. Well done to everyone involved! Here’s to many more opportunities to celebrate together in the future.
