Celebrating creativity in Birmingham for the 5th year

The Birmingham Design Festival returned for a two day-event celebrating all things creativity and design, with McCann Birmingham sponsoring for another year.

On opening day, the team hosted 32 guests across two sessions for a hands-on AI workshop. Led by the McCann Birmingham creative team, attendees were tasked with developing a destination-inspired drink, using AI tools to enhance - rather than replace - their creativity at every stage, from brand definition through to motion design.

Meanwhile, on day two, the event played host to a full day of talks from key industry speakers across a range of disciplines, such as illustration, branding and editorial design. In addition, as part of our Early Years programme, the Birmingham team also connected with attendees to offer a closer look at careers at McCann - handing out bespoke t-shirts and hosting 1:1 portfolio reviews to support and inspire emerging talent.
